This course is designed to improve your English language abilities, including listening, speaking, reading and writing, with a special emphasis on listening fluency and comprehension development. You will become familiar with major English-language media and use a wide range of materials to practice English both in and out of class. You will also develop critical thinking and communication skills by exploring the issues and perspectives presented in the English-language media. To achieve these goals, you need to complete all the assignments and participate actively in class discussions, group exercises, role plays, presentations, on-line learning, etc.
